Mr. Cooney has over 30 years of real estate experience as a real estate sales and leasing agent. He has been the exclusive marketing agent for over 200 properties totaling over 25,000 acres and the actual sale/lease of over $200MM in transactions. Mr. Cooney is a graduate of the University of South Florida.

Mr. Hollis has 45 years of experience as a Civil Engineer and development expert. He brings extensive design and permitting experience to our team, focusing on strategic entitlement and development solutions. Mr. Hollis holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Mississippi State University, an MS in Business Management from Rollins College, postgraduate studies in Environmental Engineering at UCF, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states.

Mr. Roberts has 30 years of Land Acquisition and Development Experience with 20 years as a senior member of Flagship’s Land Development efforts. During his career, Mr. Roberts has been involved in the acquisition and development of many residential and commercial projects spanning the entire state of Florida including Commercial Self Storage, retail projects and large major master-planned Residential communities. Mr. Roberts graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Business.

Mr. Murray has over 25 years of self-storage development and operations experience. He has supervised the development and opening of 40 self-storage facilities in Florida and Georgia. He has managed value-add improvements and operations for a 34-property portfolio with facilities in California, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, and the Carolinas.

Mr. Enslow has over 50 years of general contracting and building experience ranging across commercial, retail, and residential projects in addition to the development and construction of various master-planned communities around Florida. Mr. Enslow is the general contractor license holder and general contractor of record for Flagship General Contractor.

She has over 10 years of experience in organizational management and possesses significant industry specific analytical skills to determine market area demand and feasibility. Ms. Rosato holds a Florida real estate sales associate license.

Mr. Combs brings 18 years of industry experience and extensive expertise in commercial development including build-to-suits, ground leases, multi-tenant projects, and medical office developments. Mr. Combs earned a BS degree in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University.

She later worked in Space Policy and Strategy for the U.S. Department of Defense, supporting multibillion-dollar Space program initiatives over the last two years. She brings extensive experience in project management and critical risk management.

June 2002

Company Founding

Flagship Development, LLC established.  Later known as Flagship Companies Group, LLC. 

August 2004

Inaugural Project Complete

Completed 1st 500-home residential development, marking Flagship's entrance into the land development industry. 

September 2010

Stor-Kwik Portfolio Acquisitions

Acquired 1st of 34 facility self-storage portfolio spanning Florida, California, Indiana, Ohio, and Georgia expanding Flagship's aggregation efforts into self-storage.

December 2013

Salon Studio Portfolio

Open 1st of 12 salon studios in Central Florida, demonstrating Flagship's ability to aggregate portfolios in diverse sectors. 

May 2016

Flagship General Contractor

Formed Flagship General Contractor, LLC to vertically integrate to deliver high-quality larger scale projects. 

August 2020

Master Planned Developments

Opened first retail center combined with self-storage, expanding Flagship's projects into master planned developments.

December 2021

Initial Storage Portfolio Sale

First sale of a 6-facility self-storage portfolio, realizing a portion of Flagship's pro forma portfolio value. 

September 2024

Record Growth

Finished 12 projects in 2024, marking a historic year for Flagship totaling 15 operating properties.
